Prof. Lin LIN

Lin Lin, Ph.D. in Engineering, Professor, and Master’s Supervisor. Graduated from Jinan University in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Technology and Information. Since 2022, he has served as the Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering (School of Future Technology) at Guangdong Medical University, Executive Director of the Songshan Lake Medical-Engineering Fusion Innovation Center, and Director of the Dongguan Key Laboratory of Medical Electronics and Medical Imaging Equipment. He is also the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Discipline at Guangdong Medical University and the Director of the Master’s Program. His main research areas include medical electronics and biomedical optics. Lin Lin is responsible for a first-class undergraduate program in Guangdong Province and a first-class course titled "Intelligent Medical Sensors." Additionally, he manages the Guangdong Provincial Experimental Demonstration Center. He is a member of the Second Academic Committee of Guangdong Medical University, a member of the first Group Standards Committee of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, Vice Chairman of the Health and Medical Instruments and Equipment Professional Committee of the Guangdong Measurement Control Technology and Equipment Application Promotion Association, and a member of the Guangdong Undergraduate University New Medicine Professional Teaching Guidance Committee.

He has led 15 research and teaching projects with a total funding of 2.83 million yuan. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published 20 papers and holds an authorized invention patent. He won the 2021 Guangdong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (First Place) and was honored as an Outstanding Educator of Dongguan in 2023.
